ENERGY STAR PARTNER OF THE YEAR (March 2009): 

Kimberly-Clark Corporation was named a 2009 Energy Star Partner of the Year by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The award recognizes K-C's ongoing efforts to increase energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions across its operations.

EPA GREEN POWER PARTNER (January 2009): 

Kimberly-Clark Corporation ranked No. 15 on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) National Top 50 List of the largest green power users and No. 9 on the Fortune 500 Green Power List. According to the EPA, Kimberly-Clark's production of over 220 million kWh of green power is equivalent to avoiding the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions of more than 29,000 passenger vehicles per year, or is the equivalent amount of electricity needed to power more than 21,000 average American homes annually. 

SMARTWAY TRANSPORTATION PARTNERSHIP ENVIRONMENTAL EXCELLENCE AWARD (October 2008):

For the second year in a row, Kimberly-Clark Corporation received an Environmental Excellence Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency SmartWay(sm) Transportation Partnership for its leadership in conserving energy and lowering greenhouse gas emissions.
