Waste paper recycle bins and personal waste paper trays for desks are distributed periodically in the offices, allowing individuals to gather waste on their desks and personal trays which can later be transferred  to the communal bins in the corridors.

Environmental benefits of re-cycling:

Recyled paper has a number of benefits, both for the environment and the community.

For every ton of waste paper that is recycled there are the following savings:

• 3 square meters  of landfill space and approximately 17 pine trees
• Energy saving to provide electricity to 512 homes per year
• 50% reduction in water consumption and 35% reduction in waste water discharge, which equates to an approximate reduction of 8 cubic metres of waste paper discharges
